Dr. Jennifer Chukwujekwe

Dr. Jennifer Chukwujekwe is a multi-talented professional with expertise in various fields. She is an Interior Designer, Coach, and Author who is dedicated to helping professionals, entrepreneurs, and interior designers thrive in their spaces, lives, and businesses through Design. With her extensive knowledge and experience, she has successfully taught over 1000 interior designers how to build, grow, and scale their businesses while maintaining profitability. Jennifer also extends her expertise to women by teaching them how to design their homes with confidence like a Pro.

Education plays a significant role in Jennifer’s career as she holds degrees in Commercial Interior Design,

Business and Branding, Geology, Applied Computing and IT from renowned institutions such as the Interior Design Institute UK and the University of Bedfordshire UK. Furthermore, she has demonstrated her commitment to continuous learning by completing the Entrepreneurial Essentials program at the Harvard Business School Cohort Nov 2021, Future Females Business School UK, to mention just a few.

She was recently awarded admitted as a Fellow of the Global Institute of Leadership and

Governance South Africa and Awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Education by the Prowess University Delaware USA

In addition to her coaching endeavors, Jennifer founded Jenniez Designs in 2014 which operates as an interior design consulting company serving residential, commercial, and corporate clients. Her exceptional skills have attracted high-net-worth individuals as well as multinational companies and prestigious schools in Lagos.

Not content with just providing excellent design services and coaching aspiring designers,

Jennifer took it upon herself to address the gap in interior design education in Nigeria and Africa. As a result, she established Jenniez School of African Interior Design (JSAID), which serves as a platform for raising entrepreneurs through Design. JSAID proudly is the first interior design school in Africa to have their courses accredited by The Interior Design Continuous Education Council, (IDCEC) Canada, making it amongst the top interior design schools such as New York School of Interior Design which is also accredited by IDCEC, while also serving as an approved virtual training center for interior design by Lagos State Employment Trust Fund.

Jennifer Chukwujekwe is a professional who shares her extensive experience and knowledge in various ways. She offers signature courses, training, coaching, consulting, one-on-one coaching, seminars, group coaching, conferences, webinars, and mastermind programs. In addition to her expertise in interior design and consulting, Jennifer also ventured into entrepreneurship by launching her own furniture manufacturing factory -JD Furniture, online furniture hardware store- Jenniez Home Store, Jenniez Takeout a online delivery food restaurant and a retail furniture store called Uzo Living.

Jennifer is widely recognized as the Host of Nigeria’s largest interior design conference called the Blueprint Conference. She is also the author of the Interior Designers Planner and has received grants from prestigious organizations including the German GIZ Project and United States African Development

Foundation (USADF). Through these grants, she has successfully trained over 400 interior design students.

 
  


As a mentor at Fate Foundation, Tony Elumelu Foundation and IDAN Mentorship Program, Jennifer continues to inspire aspiring, emerging and thriving interior designers with her wisdom and guidance. She served as the Lead interior design consultant for Dulux Nigeria and was instrumental in creating the Dulux Design Challenge for Big Brother Naija 2020. Her outstanding contributions to the field have earned her several recognition and Awards both locally and internationally.  

Jennifer takes great pride in being a member of the Interior Designers Association of Nigeria (IDAN). In fact, she has held positions of President, Vice President of Electoral Committee, and is presently serving as the 5th President of the Interior Designers Association of Nigeria. She is also a member of the Membership Committee of WIMBIZ – Women In Business and recently awarded MJF as a LCIF Supporter of the Lions International Club for her contribution towards the empowering service fund.

She was recently awarded the Global Entrepreneurs Award for her contribution towards Social Impact. She is part of the Cohort 5 members of the United Nations Women- DO Take Action program on Women’s Economic Empowerment through Affirmative Procurement Reform in West Africa

With Jennifer Chukwujekwe’s wealth of experience and impressive accomplishments in the field of interior design and the built industry, she proves herself to be an invaluable asset to any project or consultation.

She is happily married with two amazing teenage boys. She loves to minister, research, travel, cook and spend time with loved ones.  

She is the Founder of Jenniez School of African Interior Design, Creative Director Jenniez Designs and Jenniez Home Store and CEO Jenniez Takeout.

She started her journey into the world of interior design by launching an interior design blog called Jenniez Design Concept. She is popularly known as the Design Biz Coach.

A mentor at Fate Foundation and Tony Elumelu Foundation. Her love and passion for the design industry is overwhelming. In her words interior design is a passion and Coaching is a calling.

She is currently the President of the Interior Designers Association of Nigeria 2022-2025
